A girl and her garden :)

If you want it, DO IT! I have a similar pallet garden outside my kitchen door, three layers, planted with salad crops (rocket, purslane, beet, lettuce etc., all of which you can go out and cut a few leaves for a salad) It’s an ordinary pallet, painted bright blue, and of course you put a board beneath each ‘layer’ to stop the compost falling through. Pretty simple, pretty effective
Thanks Harry, yes, you’re right. I’ve made some similar things form pallets, and my blog has many posts about pallet and other upcycling projects in the garden. The salad bar idea sounds great, though for us our back door points north and is quite shaded, so maybe somewhere else… 🙂
