Good post and always a polarizing discussion between gardeners. I’m a fall cleanup person for two reasons – the snowblower deposites feet of snow over most of my beds in the winter and I don’t encourage wildlife to come snack in my yard because they think the entire thing is a smorgasbord. 🙂 Native plants is also a lively discussion. One thing about some natives is that they are quite invasive and that seems to be a topic not too many address.
Thanks-I guess we all need to work with the conditions we have. I love leaving much of my garden intact to slowly decay…and the grasses add another dimension too especially in a low winter light.
