Old School Garden 
Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort is really amazing with vertical garden. But you did not write anything about this building. Tell something about this building.
I no nothing about the building, can you help?
The building is Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort, “offering a luxury hotel, state of the art convention facilities, and eclectic mix of retail boutiques and restaurants by celebrity chefs….Taking pride of place at the top of the hotel towers is the Sands SkyPark, a sky oasis featuring lush greenery, gourmet dining options and an infinity pool overlooking the central business district.” So now you know.
The ‘trees’ are among 16 ‘supertrees’ within the Gardens By The Bay park. They are “vertical gardens equipped with cells to harvest solar energy and also provide a framework for over 200 species and varieties of orchides, ferns and tropical flowering climbers.”

I will try to provide some photos following my planned visit in November, although I doubt my wallet will stretch to the luxury hotel itself!

Wow, that’s amazing. I prefer to stick on the ground myself though, not keen on heights! But it’s great to see space being used for gardening instead of just being left as plain concrete. Imagine if every tall building did the same… What are those purpley tree thingies?
Thanks- I agree about using the principle, and there are a number of examples from around the world where this is happening- especially in crowded cities, so there’s hope the idea will grow…It would be good to see it adopted in suburban developments along with integrated solar panels perhaps? The ‘purple trees’ are, I think, sculptures, but they may hide some ventilation shafts?
