I’m researching green roofs at the moment to plan what I’ll grow and plant on our house. I’ll grow plenty sedum as it’s easy to split up to grow more (what’s the correct term for that lol?) and there’s heaps of varieties. I’d like some wildflowers too.

Thanks for commenting. I believe Sedum is staple of green roofs and as you say you can create lots of plants by dividing them up (‘propagation by division’ is the horticultural term). If you search my site for ‘green roofs’ you’ll see one or two other articles which might be of interest. π

I love green roofs, and made a green roof on my blue wheelbarrow shed which houses the twin of the wheelbarrow that I pushed from end to end of the north island of New Zealand a few years ago
