Recycling in the garden- even more projects!

I seem to be collecting examples of cunning recycling projects to add stylish features or practical items to the garden or other outside spaces. Here is my latest batch, most provided by the Facebook site 1001 Pallets – why not pay them a visit? And if you have plans for a project of your own, or even better some pictures of what you’ve achieved, I’d love to hear from you!

First some projects involving children…

A ‘music tree’ – an old branch fixed into a base, with yoghurt pots, and other assorted containers to provide different sounds

Storing all those useful ‘loose parts’ for creative play

Recycled materials can create a magical space- especially if the children are involved in creating it!

Children growing their own

A shopping basket lined with synthetic grass and used for a mobile children’s garden

A children’s discovery space made out of old pallets

Next, some seating ideas…

Designer pallet seating/ art form- pallets covered in metal sheeting

A bed turned into a bench

A pallet swing seat

A bench made of pallets and cable reels

A few garden storage and planting projects…
